The little dude underwent several phases of evolution, before arriving at the simple lovely creature you see today. He has been reduced to this very basic, characterless form, so that the artist is completely free to fill him with life, without inteference of an existing personality.
With each artists individual touch, the little dudes are sure to display a variety of faces and forms, when they unite at the exhibition, reunion party. It is exciting to see the diverse responses, coming from artists all over the world, with all different styles and specialisations, and with no exposure to what each other are doing.
As for the little dudes buddies (as seen photographed), although sad not to be chosen, they are showing the selected dude their support and hanging out with him anyway.
